Delivery
What does it cost?
For UK mainland deliveries:
We offer Royal Mail delivery for smaller items up to approximately 5kg in weight. Cost for Royal Mail deliveries vary but start at £2.90 +vat. For larger items we sometime have to use a courier service and the cost for courier deliveries start at £5.79 +vat. Prices for Highlands and Island and off-shore locations are generally slightly higher if we have to use a courier service.
For UK off-shore/highland deliveries:
We try to keep cost down and if possible we use Royal Mail to deliver to these locations so the costs are generally the same as all other UK mainland locations. If the item is slightly larger or heavier then we do have to use a courier service for delivery and costs are normally around £10 +vat.
How long does it take?
If you need something really quickly then please call us to order.
Your order will be acknowledge via email. If for any reason we are not able to ship your order from stock we will update you via email or telephone. Some items are shipped direct from the manufacturer, if this applies to your order we’ll also let you know via email or telephone. Please note that some special order items can take longer to deliver but information regarding this will normally be given on the product page; for example PreWoodec dash kits are made to order in Germany so we quote a longer delivery time for this type of item.
For domestic UK mainland deliveries:
* Royal Mail standard delivery should take approximately 3 working days.
* Royal Mail Tracked delivery should take approximatley 3-4 working days.
* FedEx Courier delivery is generally next day but we ask customers to allow 48 hours for delivery.
* Parcelforce 48 hr delivery is expected to take 48 hours but may take slightly longer for customers in the Highlands & Islands, IOM, Northern Ireland, etc.
* We do sometimes use Royal Mail Special delivery service for smaller express items.
For Western European deliveries:
* Smaller items are generally despatch by Air Mail and delivery times can vary from 3-10 days.
* Larger items are sent by FedEx road service and again can vary from 3-10 days.
* For some delivery countries we will use Parcel Force International service.
Other International locations:
* We use Parcel Force International Service. Please ask if you require more information.
All items are insured whilst in transit but we do request that customers inform us of any damage or short deliveries within 24 hours of receipt of goods.
